Pre-Defense of Graduation Qualification Theses of RYL-1-22 Students: Professional Dialogue and Academic Inquiry

On May 29, 2026, the Department of Russian Philology held the pre-defense of graduation qualification theses for the graduating students of group RYL-1-22. The event became an important stage in preparing future specialists for the final state certification and demonstrated the high level of research, methodological, and professional training of the graduates.

A welcoming and motivational speech was delivered by A.A. Zhusupova, Head of the Department of Russian Philology. In her address, she emphasized the significance of the graduation qualification thesis as the culmination of many years of study, noted the relevance of the topics chosen by the students, and wished the graduates confidence, success in their defense, and further professional achievements.

During the event, A.A. Kalmurzaeva also addressed the participants, highlighting the importance of in-depth scientific analysis, proper academic formatting of research papers, and a responsible approach to the preparation of final projects.

The students presented the main provisions of their research, outlined the objectives and tasks of their studies, justified the relevance of their chosen topics, and demonstrated their theoretical knowledge, research skills, and ability to apply acquired knowledge in practice. As part of the pre-defense, the graduates also prepared informative presentations that visually demonstrated the results of their research and the key conclusions of their theses.

During the discussion, academic supervisors and faculty members provided detailed consultations, offered recommendations, corrections, and suggestions regarding the content, structure, and formatting of the graduation qualification theses. The graduates received valuable methodological guidance to help them successfully complete their preparation for the final defense.

The pre-defense was conducted in an atmosphere of active academic communication, professional interaction, and constructive exchange of ideas. The event enabled students to receive qualified expert feedback on their research, improve the quality of their graduation theses, and enhance their readiness for the upcoming final defense.
