State language and language policy at the institutes and colleges of the Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov aims to implement tasks related to the dissemination, development, and improvement of the state language.

The state language and the main objectives of language policy:

• To use the state language as the language of science;

• To widely utilize the university's achievements in the state language and disseminate them on social media;

• To promote the state language and increase respect for the state language among faculty, professors, and students;

• Control over the correct use of signs, announcements and office work in the state language;

• Assistance in developing a respectful attitude, interest and desire to learn the state language among foreign students studying at the university;

• Implementation of a language policy aimed at the large-scale and effective use of the state language as a factor in strengthening the unity of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan while preserving and respecting the languages ​​and cultures of the various peoples and ethnic groups studying at JASU;

• Raising a new generation proficient in the state, native, official, and international languages;

• Developing the practice of writing candidate and doctoral dissertations in the state language;

• Introducing a state examination in Kyrgyz for graduates.

Official duties related to the state language and language policy:

• Carry out activities within the framework of the legislation on the state language in accordance with the Regulation of the National Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic on the State Language;

• Develop measures aimed at compliance with regulatory legal acts and carry out work on the development of the state language in accordance with the Regulation of the National Commission on the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic;

•To Promote competent office work in the state language at JASU institutes and colleges;

• Improve the quality of academic subjects, coursework, diploma, and master's theses in the state language in accordance with educational standards and curricula;

• Ensure that signs and announcements on the campus are written correctly in Kyrgyz;

• Ensure that all departments of Jalal-Abad State University (institutes, colleges, academic departments, quality control department, and dormitories) are fully transitioned to the state language between 2020 and 2026;

• Strengthen the role of faculty in improving proficiency in the state language and the quality of instruction;

• Organize educational, methodological, and methodological work on teaching and learning the state language;

•Organize research and development of scientific and practical ways and methods for improving and popularizing the state language.
