Academic mobility

Academic mobility of teaching staff and students of JASU is carried out on the basis of the regulations of JASU, developed in accordance with the “law of the Kyrgyz Republic on education” of 2003. and the charter of JASU approved by the rector Usenov K.Zh. on the academic mobility of students and scientific and pedagogical workers of JASU. This regulation regulates the requirements for educational organizations to conduct external academic mobility, the basis, procedure and conditions for academic mobility of students and teaching staff of JASU, as well as students and teaching staff of foreign universities at JASU.   

 The goals of academic mobility of JASU students are to improve the quality of training and subsequent employment of students, participation in the international system of higher and vocational education, ensuring the competitiveness of students in the international labor market, as well as strengthening the prestige of JASU in the educational market.

The university and the leadership of the educational program actively promote the academic mobility of students at all levels. Every year, new agreements are concluded with domestic and foreign universities on the direction of academic mobility programs, educational programs and individual educational trajectories with partner universities are harmonized. Students can receive the necessary additional consultations directly from the department.    

Thanks to the signed agreements, students and teachers had the opportunity to take part in many international scientific conferences, publish their scientific research, and take part in various trainings, seminars, and round tables. There was also the opportunity to participate in the academic mobility program. So for the period from 2016 to 2024. 230 JASU students studied at foreign and domestic universities under academic mobility programs, as well as from 2016 to 2024. 150 teaching staff of JASU visited foreign and domestic universities under academic mobility programs.        

  To participate in academic mobility, students must provide the following documents:

- Statements

-Tripartite agreement

-Approved schedule of the educational process

-Questionnaire

-Copy of the passport

-Transcript

-certificate from the place of study

-Photo 3x4

Student registration is carried out twice per academic year - in August for studying in the fall semester and in December for studying in the spring semester.
