The mission of JASU was adopted at the meeting of the JASU Academic Council, Minutes No. 6, dated January 1, 2019. Amendments were made at the meeting of the JASU Academic Council, Minutes No. 5, dated December 28, 2022. The mission is reflected on the JASU website in three languages, open to interested parties. It is also displayed on banners in all academic buildings, as well as on stands in classrooms and lecture halls, and at clinical sites.

Currently, the mission of B. Osmonov JASU is to train highly qualified scientific and professional personnel capable of making a theoretical and practical contribution to the socioeconomic development of society, focused on global competition. The vision of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov is to modernize the university's educational, scientific, and innovative activities to train highly qualified and professional personnel who will ensure the country's sustainable socioeconomic development and strengthen the university's position in the educational space. A successfully functioning, competent organization that meets the demands of a changing labor market and promotes tolerance in all areas.

STRATEGIC GOALS

To promote the sustainable development of Jalal-Abad State University as the most prestigious, modern higher education institution in the republic and one in demand in modern society. To train qualified specialists in higher and secondary education, master's students, postgraduate students, and doctoral students. To ensure the quality of education through innovative development of the university, in accordance with employer and social demands. To align with new models of modern education and develop a roadmap for transforming Jalal-Abad State University into a "University 4.0" model.
