Interuniversity Cooperation and the Development of Russian Language Teaching Methodology: A Meeting at Secondary School No. 90 Named after Manas

On May 21, 2026, a joint scientific and methodological meeting was held at Secondary School No. 90 named after Manas with the participation of representatives of the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), the B.N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU), B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University (Department of Russian Philology), as well as teachers of Russian language and literature from schools of the Suzak district.

The purpose of the event was to discuss актуal issues of teaching Russian as a non-native language, exchange professional experience, and present the educational and scientific-methodological opportunities of the partner universities.

Guest lectures were delivered by leading specialists in the field of Russian language and teaching methodology:

1.     Aigerim Ernisovna Ernisova — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Deputy Director of the Institute of Russian Language at KRSU;

2.     Rafiga Rashidovna Gumbatova — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of Department at the Institute of Russian Language of KRSU;

3.     Marina Nikolaevna Kunovski — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Russian Language No. 2 at the Institute of Russian Language of RUDN University;

4.     Irina Aleksandrovna Dinevich — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language No. 2 at the Institute of Russian Language of RUDN University.

During the meeting, participants discussed modern approaches to teaching the Russian language, ways to increase students’ learning motivation, the introduction of innovative educational technologies, and the improvement of teachers’ professional skills.

At the end of the event, all participants received certificates. On behalf of the Rector of B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University and the Department of Russian Philology, a letter of appreciation was presented to Aisuluu Alymovna Sulaimanova, Director of Secondary School No. 90 named after Manas, for fruitful cooperation in pedagogical activities, active collaboration as an employer, and providing a high-quality base for students’ teaching practice.
