Career Guidance Activities of the Department of Russian Philology at the Pedagogical College of JAGU named after B. Osmonov

On May 13, 2026, the faculty members of the Department of Russian Philology — Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Ayylchieva D.T., and lecturer Toychuyeva V.M. — conducted a career guidance meeting with students majoring in “Primary School Teaching” at the Pedagogical College of ЖАГУ имени Б. Осмонова.

During the event, future graduates were introduced to the academic programs, educational opportunities, and fields of study offered by the Institute of Philology. Special attention was paid to the professional development of future teachers, the prospects of philological education, as well as the scientific, cultural, and social activities of students.

The department’s lecturers spoke about the role of modern гуманitarian education in developing the professional competencies necessary for successful teaching practice and answered numerous questions from the participants. In order to attract prospective applicants for further study, invitation certificates for admission to the Institute of Philology were distributed.

As part of the career guidance event, letters of appreciation from the Institute of Philology were presented to Arzymatova Venera, Tobokelova Salamat, and Ayylchieva Nazgul for their active participation, fruitful cooperation, and assistance in organizing career guidance activities among young people.

The meeting became an important step toward strengthening partnership relations between educational institutions and contributed to increasing students’ interest in continuing their studies in the fields of philological and pedagogical education.
