Career Guidance Meeting of the Department of Russian Philology Teachers with Graduates of Schools in Bazar-Korgon District

Today, on April 15, the teachers of the Department of Russian Philology of ZhAGU, Aychurok Abdirashidovna Kalmurzaeva and Aida Abdullazhanovna Zhusupova, visited Secondary School No. 11 named after Alykulov and Secondary School No. 12 named after Kaparbek in the Bazar-Korgon district as part of their career guidance activities. During the visit, discussions were held with graduating students and school administrations. The principal of School No. 12, Zhazgul Mamytovna Abdullaeva, organized a meeting between ZhAGU teachers and senior students. At the meeting, students were provided with brochures and informational materials about the ZhAGU admissions committee.

The teachers gave detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, specifics of the educational process, and student life at the university. Special attention was paid to in-demand specialties, opportunities for obtaining quality education, and future employment prospects for graduates.

During the dialogue, students received answers to their questions regarding entrance examinations, application deadlines, and available benefits. Such meetings help students make informed decisions about their future professions and increase their interest in continuing their education at ZhAGU.

The teachers also emphasized the importance of studying the Russian language and literature in the modern educational space, highlighting its role in developing communicative competence, critical thinking, and broadening students’ cultural outlook. It was noted that graduates in this field are востребованы in educational institutions, mass media, translation, and intercultural communication.

During the meeting, examples of successful graduates of the department who have realized themselves professionally were presented. Students showed particular interest in issues related to internships, participation in scientific and creative projects, and opportunities for academic mobility.
