On March 30, 2026, within the framework of educational and extracurricular activities, a meaningful event was held at the university aimed at fostering students’ academic interest and shaping their civic consciousness.

The event was organized in accordance with Decree No. 205 of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 24, 2024, “On the Fathers Who Laid the Modern Foundations of the Kyrgyz Statehood (Abdykerim Sydykov, Imanaly Aidarbekov, Jusup Abdrakhmanov, Abdykadyr Orozbekov, Ishenaly Arabaev)” and with Letter No. 01-20/5582 of the Jalal-Abad City Mayor’s Office. To implement this decree, events in educational institutions, including universities and colleges, are scheduled in the 2025–2026 academic year according to the prescribed timelines and formats.

At the event, the Vice-Rector, Irysghul Abdymanapovna Isabaeva, spoke, reminding participants of the essay contest among students and wishing them success. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of developing analytical thinking, expressing one’s ideas logically, and actively engaging youth in research activities.

Within the framework of the announced contest, students of Group RYAL-1-25 actively participated and wrote essays. They stood out for their independence, level of interest, and creative approach in exploring the proposed topics.

Special attention of the participants was drawn to the presentation prepared by Durdona Mekhmanhodzhaeva and Zilola Buranova. They extensively highlighted Jusup Abdrakhmanov’s life and socio-political activities, presenting the material in an accessible and engaging manner. The presentation was complemented by visual aids, capturing the audience’s lively interest.

The event once again underscored the importance of deeply understanding the country’s history and educating young people to love and respect it. The memory of the great figures who contributed to the formation of modern Kyrgyz statehood should serve as a source of inspiration for every citizen. Understanding their life paths, ideas, and service to the people fosters patriotic feelings, respect for national heritage, appreciation of history, and encourages efforts to preserve it while contributing to the development of society.
