Exchange of pedagogical experience: non-traditional literature lessons in school practice

On March 13, a methodological seminar titled “Methods of Preparing and Conducting Non-Traditional Literature Lessons” was held at Secondary School No. 14 named after S. Davletov in the city of Manas. The seminar was conducted by senior lecturer Zhamasheva N.S. The event was organized within the framework of professional basic practice (PBP) for student trainees.

The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with modern methods of teaching literature, as well as to develop their professional skills in preparing and conducting non-traditional lessons.

During the seminar, various forms of literature lessons were discussed: a discussion lesson, a travel lesson, a game lesson, a dramatization lesson, and a literary salon. Special attention was paid to the preparatory stage of the lesson, the selection of methods and techniques for working with literary texts, and ways of activating students’ cognitive activity.

Student trainees actively participated in the discussion, sharing their ideas and suggestions for organizing engaging and creative literature lessons. Examples of non-traditional lessons that help increase school students’ interest in reading and analyzing literary works were also presented.

At the end of the seminar, the participants concluded that the use of non-traditional forms of lessons contributes to the development of students’ creative thinking, increases their motivation to study literature, and makes the learning process more engaging and effective.
