Round Table on the Use of Visual Aids in Russian Language and Literature Lessons

On March 13, 2026, a round table on the topic “Preparation and Use of Visual Aids in Russian Language and Literature Lessons” was held at Secondary School No. 4 in the city of Manas. The event was organized within the framework of methodological cooperation between the school and the Institute of Philology of B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University (JASU).

The moderator and the main speaker of the round table was Associate Professor Aiylchieva D.T. from the Institute of Philology of JASU. Teachers of Russian language and literature from Secondary School No. 4 took part in the discussion.

During the event, актуal issues related to the use of visual teaching aids in the educational process were discussed. In particular, participants considered modern approaches to the preparation of didactic materials, effective methods of using visual aids in Russian language and literature lessons, and their role in increasing students’ cognitive activity and interest in the studied subjects.

Associate Professor Aiylchieva D.T. presented practical recommendations for the development and use of various types of visual aids, including tables, diagrams, thematic posters, illustrative materials, presentations, and interactive resources. Special attention was paid to methods of integrating these tools into the structure of the lesson to ensure more effective learning of educational material.

The participants of the round table exchanged pedagogical experience, discussed the use of modern educational technologies, and shared their practical developments. During the discussion, specific examples of using visual materials in teaching works of Russian literature and grammatical topics of the Russian language were considered.

As a result of the round table, the participants emphasized the importance of the systematic use of visual aids in the educational process, as they contribute to better perception and consolidation of learning material, the development of students’ analytical thinking, and the formation of a stable interest in the subject.

The event became an effective platform for professional communication and exchange of experience between university lecturers and school teachers and also contributed to strengthening cooperation between B. Osmonov JASU and the city’s general education institutions.
