Advisory Hour on Academic Dress Code

An advisory hour dedicated to the issue of observing the academic dress code at the university was held with the students of group РЯЛ-1-22 at the Department of Russian Philology of the Institute of Philology. The event was conducted by Senior Lecturer Suleimanova T.A.

During the meeting, the requirements for students’ appearance in the academic environment were discussed. Suleimanova T.A. emphasized that a neat and modest style of dress contributes to creating a professional atmosphere at the university and reflects respect for the educational process, teachers, and fellow students.

Special attention was also paid to the fact that with the arrival of the spring season some students tend to prefer casual and informal clothing, including ripped jeans and overly bright or revealing elements of clothing, which do not always correspond to the university’s dress code requirements. In this regard, students were advised to follow a more restrained and tidy style of clothing appropriate to the status of university students.

The Head of the Department of Russian Philology, Zhusupova A.A., also delivered an explanatory speech. She noted that compliance with the dress code is an important component of academic culture and contributes to the development of responsibility, discipline, and professional ethics among students.

During the advisory hour, students received explanations regarding the main requirements for appearance at the university, discussed relevant issues, and shared their opinions.

The meeting aimed to promote students’ culture of behavior and understanding of the importance of following the established internal regulations of the university.
