Curator Hour Dedicated to Ak Kalpak Day

On March 5, 2026, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology Alymkulov A.A. held a curator hour with students of groups RYAL-1-24 and RYALk-2-24, dedicated to the national holiday — Ak Kalpak Day. The theme of the meeting was “Ak Kalpak as a Symbol of the National Culture of the Kyrgyz People.”

During the event, the curator spoke to the students about the history and significance of the ak kalpak — one of the most important symbols of the traditional culture of the Kyrgyz people. Special attention was paid to its symbolism, the traditions of wearing it, and its role in preserving national identity.

Students actively participated in the discussion, sharing their knowledge and reflections on the importance of national traditions and the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan. The meeting was held in a friendly and engaging atmosphere, fostering open dialogue and exchange of ideas.
