Final Conference of Master’s Students of Group OTms-1-24 on Research Practice at the Department of Russian Philology

On March 26, 2026, the Department of Russian Philology of the Institute of Philology held a final conference summarizing the research practice of Master’s students from group OTms-1-24. The event was conducted in the format of public defense of research reports and became an important stage in the professional development of future specialists.

During the conference, the Master’s students presented the results of their research, demonstrating a high level of theoretical training and proficiency in modern methods of philological analysis.

The following students delivered presentations: Aiperim Zhyldyzbekova — “The Concept of ‘Religion’ in Linguoculturology” (Supervisor: A.A. Kalmurzaeva); Aidai Asilbek kyzy — “Features of the Translational and Poetic Creativity of V.Ya. Bryusov” (Supervisor: A.A. Alymkulov); Zuvayda Kambarova — “The Gender Aspect of Speech Behavior in Linguoculturology” (Supervisor: Z.S. Kalybekova); Tamara Nurkamilova — “The Reflection of the Ecological Catastrophe Problem in the Works of Ch. Aitmatov” (Supervisor: D.T. Aiylchieva); Zhumagul Syrgaeva — “The Concept of ‘Horse’ in Kyrgyz Linguoculture” (Supervisor: D.T. Aiylchieva); Elnura Ergeshova — “Neologisms in the Russian and Kyrgyz Languages during the COVID-19 Pandemic” (Supervisor: D.T. Aiylchieva); Makhlie Mamasadikova — “National Specificity of Phraseological Units with Names of Means and Modes of Transportation (Based on Russian and Kyrgyz Languages)” (Supervisor: Z.S. Kalybekova); Mairamkan Suranova — “The Functional-Semantic Field as an Object of Linguistic Analysis” (Supervisor: K.Z. Zulpukarov).

At the conclusion of the conference, it was noted that the Master’s students demonstrated the ability to independently analyze academic material, substantiate their viewpoints, and apply their knowledge in research practice.

Such events contribute to the development of academic culture among Master’s students, the formation of research competencies, and the strengthening of the academic traditions of the Department of Russian Philology.
