Orientation Conference on Organizing Adaptation and Pedagogical Practice for Students of the “Russian Language and Literature” Program

On January 23, 2025, the Department of Russian Philology held an orientation conference on adaptation and pedagogical practice (APP) for students of the “Russian Language and Literature” program.

Within the framework of the educational process, adaptation and pedagogical practice is planned for students of the groups РЯЛ-1-24 and РЯЛк-2-24. This stage of professional training is aimed at developing future specialists’ basic pedagogical skills and abilities, as well as adapting students to the educational environment.

The practice enables students to become familiar with the organization of the teaching and educational process, the specifics of a teacher’s work, and the features of interaction between learners and the teaching staff. During the practice, future teachers have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and to develop their communicative, analytical, and methodological competencies.

The conference was opened with a welcome speech by the Head of the Department, Zhussupova A.A., who introduced the practice schedule and emphasized the importance of adaptation and pedagogical practice in the professional development of future teachers of philology, highlighting the need for a responsible attitude toward the profession and continuous self-improvement.

The person responsible for the practice, Suleimanova T.A., presented the goals, objectives, and content of the practice, explained the requirements for its completion, documentation, and reporting materials, and drew students’ attention to the importance of observing the norms of pedagogical ethics.

In turn, the group tutor Alimamatova D.A. focused on the educational aspect of the practice, the importance of discipline, communication culture, and the formation of a professional image of a future teacher.

Conducting adaptation and pedagogical practice contributes to students’ professional growth, the development of sustainable interest in pedagogical activity, and the training of competitive specialists in the field of Russian language and literature.
