Results of the Art Competition “In the World of Aitmatov”

On December 15, 2025, the Department of Russian Philology of the Philological Institute summed up the results of the creative art competition titled “In the World of Aitmatov”. Students presented impressive artworks that reflected the images, ideas, and atmosphere of Chingiz Aitmatov’s works with deep understanding and outstanding artistic expressiveness. Each drawing was distinguished by an individual style, careful attention to detail, and a respectful attitude toward the literary heritage of the great writer.

To evaluate the конкурс entries, experts were invited: Head of the Department of Civil Law and Advocacy, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Narmatov N. K., and Head of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Tolonov E. N. The experts highly appreciated both the technical quality of the presented works and their emotional richness and artistic depth.

The event was opened with a welcoming address by the Head of the Department of Russian Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Zhusupova A. A., who emphasized the importance of holding such creative competitions within the educational process. She noted that these initiatives contribute to the development of students’ artistic thinking, broaden their cultural outlook, foster aesthetic taste, and strengthen interest in the creative heritage of Chingiz Aitmatov.

The award ceremony was conducted by the Dean of the Philological Institute, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Asylbekova Ch. A., who presented diplomas to the students and expressed gratitude for their activity, creativity, and sincere interest in literature and art. In her speech, the dean emphasized that turning to Aitmatov’s works through visual art is an important step in preserving and promoting spiritual values and national culture.

As a result of the competition, the most active participants who demonstrated particular interest were awarded diplomas. The organizers expressed their gratitude to all students for their creative approach, initiative, and desire to convey the artistic vision of Aitmatov’s rich and multifaceted world.

The event became a significant cultural occasion, contributing to the support of student creativity, the development of aesthetic taste, and the strengthening of young people’s interest in national literature and art.
