Students of the “Russian Language and Literature” Profile Attended the Performance “Syrdashuu”

The works of Chingiz Aitmatov hold a special place in world literature, reflecting profound moral and ethical values, the history of the Kyrgyz people, and universal human truths. Experiencing his works through theatrical interpretation allows students not only to immerse themselves in a living artistic space, but also to broaden their cultural horizons, develop professional taste, and perceive literary images emotionally in a new format.

On December 11, the students of the “Russian Language and Literature” profile of the Philological Institute attended the performance “Syrdashuu” at the Barpy Drama Theatre. The production is based on Chingiz Aitmatov’s novella “Mother’s Field” and is dedicated to the Day of History and Remembrance of Ancestors, the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, as well as the birthday of the great Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov.

The director of the performance is the Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Shayyrbubu Mambetova.

Stage designer — Janargul Omurzakova.

Cast: Tolgonai — Zhanylai Temirkul kyzy, Mother-Earth — Uulkan Galdybai kyzy, Aliman — Alina Kurmanbek kyzy.

Attending the performance became an important cultural and educational event that contributed to the development of aesthetic perception, increased interest in national literature, and strengthened the spiritual and moral values of the youth.
