Conducting a Curatorial Session on Academic Dress Code

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology, D.A. Alimamatova, held a curatorial session with the students of group РЯЛк-2-24, during which the issue of adhering to the academic dress code at the university was discussed.

During the meeting, the curator emphasized the importance of a student’s appearance as part of the overall culture of behavior within the educational environment. She noted that maintaining a businesslike and neat style of clothing helps foster a respectful attitude toward the learning process and contributes to creating a positive atmosphere within the student group.

Using the example of several female students who came to class in sportswear, it was demonstrated that such attire does not meet academic standards or university requirements. The lecturer explained that sportswear is appropriate for physical education classes; however, attending lectures and practical sessions presupposes a more reserved and businesslike style.

The curatorial session was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere. Students asked questions of interest and expressed their willingness to follow the rules of the academic dress code.
