On-the-job Training at Secondary General Education School No. 9 named after R. Sanatbaev, Manas City

On October 30, 2025, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor A.A. Kalmurzayeva conducted an on-the-job training seminar at Secondary General Education School No. 9 named after R. Sanatbaev in Manas City on the topic: “Challenging Issues of Morphology. Indeclinable Nouns.”

The following issues were discussed during the seminar:

• The concept of noun declension in the Russian language.
• The significance of the topic “Indeclinable Nouns” in the study of morphology.
• Main features of indeclinable nouns (no change by case or number; fixed form in all contexts).
• Groups of indeclinable nouns.
• Gender of indeclinable nouns.
• Features of the use of indeclinable nouns in speech.
• Common mistakes in determining gender; peculiarities of agreement with adjectives and verbs.
• The role of indeclinable nouns in modern Russian language.
