October 1 — International Day of Older Persons

On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, celebrated on October 1, teachers and students visited a residential home for elderly people located in the village of Oktyabr, Suzak District, Jalal-Abad Region. The main purpose of the event was to show respect and care for representatives of the older generation, appreciate their life experience and contributions, and promote such values among young people as respect for elders, compassion, kindness, and care. During the visit, the students communicated with the residents of the home, asked about their well-being, and shared their attention and care with them. They expressed warm wishes to the elderly people, tried to lift their spirits, and created a warm and festive atmosphere. The students also presented them with small gifts. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The elderly residents expressed their gratitude to the teachers and students, wished them success, and gave them their blessings and kind wishes. Such activities contribute to developing humanity, kindness, compassion, and respect for older people among the younger generation.
