ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE — NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN EDUCATION
On February 27, 2026, the Department of German Language and Interfaculty Foreign Languages of the Philology Institute held a master class entitled “Artificial Intelligence – New Opportunities in Education,” which was conducted at a high level. The event was organized and led by Senior Lecturers B.U. Moldobaeva and N.K. Bekieva. The main objective of the master class was to provide educators with comprehensive information about the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, its capabilities, and its practical applications. The master class was attended by the Director of the Philology Institute, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Acting Associate Professor Ch.A. Asylbekova, as well as members of the academic staff, who expressed their interest and support. Participants became familiar with the role of AI in the modern educational system, opportunities to optimize the teaching process, the use of digital tools in lesson preparation, test creation, text analysis, translation activities, and the development of interactive materials. During the event, theoretical information was combined with practical examples, and various AI tools were demonstrated live. Particular attention was paid to the advantages of using AI in language teaching, including increasing student engagement, ensuring personalized learning, saving time, and improving the quality of education. The master class was conducted in an interactive format using modern technical equipment, and participants actively engaged in discussions and exchange of ideas. The event was organized at a high level and made a significant contribution to the professional development of teachers and the enhancement of their digital competencies. In conclusion, the participants emphasized that the effective integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process is a requirement of the modern era and highlighted the importance of continuing such practical master classes in the future.
