Academic Quiz Dedicated to the 97th Anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov

On December 5, 2025, the Department of German and Interfaculty Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology organized an academic quiz titled “Aitmatov’s Philosophy and Human Values,” dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the great writer Chingiz Aitmatov.

Students from the Departments of Linguistics, Russian Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, and German and Interfaculty Foreign Languages actively participated in the event, demonstrating strong analytical skills while exploring the philosophical ideas and humanistic values reflected in Aitmatov’s works.

Throughout the quiz, participants showcased their knowledge, logical thinking, and creativity, while also gaining an opportunity to exchange ideas and gain a fresh perspective on the writer’s literary legacy.

The organizers of the quiz — lecturers of the Department of German and Interfaculty Foreign Languages Nuryza Uraimova and Molmol Tolubaeva conducted the event at a high level, creating a comfortable environment for the participants and preparing engaging and meaningful tasks. At the end of the competition, the most successful teams were awarded diplomas and certificates.

The Faculty of Philology plans to continue organizing such events aimed at fostering the intellectual and creative potential of its students.
