Professional Practice: Representation of the German National Autumn Holiday in Open Educational Sessions

On November 5, 2025, at the Department of German and Interfaculty Foreign Languages, 4th-year students A. Mamatsakova and A. Saipidinova, under the supervision of practice coordinators Ch.A. Asylbekova and A.G. Esenova, organized an educational event titled "Deutscher Herbstmarkt – German Autumn Fair."

The purpose of the event was to introduce students to the culture and traditions of Germany, increase their interest in the German language, enhance their speaking culture, develop creative abilities, and activate communicative skills through songs, dances, games, and presentations.

During the event, participants received information about Germany’s autumn holidays — Erntedankfest, Oktoberfest, and Weinfest — and observed performances of cultural songs and dances, national dishes, and autumn-themed displays.

The students showed great activity, improving their teamwork, public speaking, and ability to use German in real-life situations. The event was held in a warm, friendly, and inspiring atmosphere.
