THE FRAMEWORK OF “УЛУТТУКДЕМ – ДҮЙНӨЛҮКБИЙИКТИК”

On September 15, 2026, the Institute of Philology of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov held a series of curatorial hours dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and, within the framework of preparations for the 100th anniversary of the great Kyrgyz writer and thinker Chyngyz Aitmatov, under the theme “УЛУТТУК ДЕМ – ДҮЙНӨЛҮК БИЙИКТИК”. (“National Spirit – Global Heights”).

The main objective of the event was to increase students’ interest in education, promote respect for national values, the native language and cultural heritage, and strengthen patriotic feelings and national consciousness among young people.

During the curatorial hour, special attention was paid to the epic “Manas” as one of the greatest spiritual treasures of the Kyrgyz people. The students discussed its role in shaping national identity and its significance in world culture.

The students also learned about the life and creative heritage of Chyngyz Aitmatov. His works were discussed in terms of national and universal human values, patriotism, humanism, spiritual responsibility and the relationship between people and nature.
