JASU delegation participates in the anniversary events of Andijan state institute of foreign languages

The faculty members of B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad state university, at the invitation of the rector of Andijan state institute of foreign languages, took part as honored guests in the international scientific and practical conference titled “Til va uning xalqaro miqyosdagi mavqeyining yuksalishi: fan, ilmiy faoliyat va oliy ta'limda xalqaro hamkorlik masalalari,” dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the institution, held on June 2–3, 2026. During the opening ceremony, Professor of JASU, Doctor of Philology Muyassar Mirzakhidova, on behalf of the Rector and the entire university staff, congratulated the institute’s team on their anniversary and wished them continued success, major achievements, and further expansion of international cooperation. As part of the anniversary events, a presentation of the English translation of the renowned novel “Ulugbek’s Treasure” by the People’s Writer of Uzbekistan Odil Yakubov was held. The translation was completed by the Rector of the institute, Doctor of Philology, Professor D. Rustamov, and researcher A. Ruziev. During the presentation, participants discussed the artistic and historical value of the work, the specifics of the translation process, and the importance of this publication in promoting national literature to the global community. The conference also featured presentations of three academic journals reflecting the institute’s scientific potential and research outcomes. Participants highly appreciated the role of these publications in advancing science, strengthening international academic cooperation, and providing opportunities for young researchers.
