On-the-job training on the theme “Difficulties in translating agricultural terminology”

Kenjebu Osmonova head of the department of intercultural communication and linguistics of the philological nstitute and senior lecturer, organized and conducted a round table discussion for students of the LAk-1-24 group.

The event was held as part of academic practice aimed at developing initial professional skills. During the practice, the students visited the “Jalal-Abad regional rural advisory service,” where a round table discussion on the topic “Difficulties in translating agricultural terminology” was conducted.

During the visit, a round table discussion was held on the topic “Difficulties in translating agricultural terminology.” The students discussed the specific features of agricultural terms as well as lexical, semantic, and cultural challenges encountered in translation.

The specialists of the institution provided practical examples and valuable recommendations on accurate and appropriate translation of terminology. The students were able to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, gaining important professional skills.
