A modern guest  lecture and master class in education

On April 3, in 2026, a scientific and methodological master class was held at the department of translation theory and practice as part of the academic mobility agreement between Bishkek State University named after K. Karasayev and Jalal-Abad State University (JASU).

            The guest lecturer was Z. A. Israilov, a lecturer at JASU. The main topic of the event was gamification—one of the most promising and popular educational technologies in modern higher education.

            The main goal of the meeting was to enhance the faculty's professional competence in using game-based methods to manage student motivation and engagement. The training addressed the challenges of adapting the theoretical foundations of gamification to the practical needs of philological education.

            The master class was conducted in an intensive learning format. Over the course of one hour, participants completed a set of exercises aimed at developing four core language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. At the end of the masterclass, participants noted the high practical value of the tools presented. It was emphasized that the systematic integration of game elements into academic subjects will not only improve academic performance but also adapt the educational environment to the demands of the digital generation.
