Guest lectures held at the department of intercultural communication and linguistics

On March 27 of this year, a teaching and academic delegation from NOTM university of economics and pedagogy in the city of Andijan, Uzbekistan visited the department as guests within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the two universities.

A series of guest lectures was organized at the department of intercultural communication and linguistics of the institute of philology. As part of the event, distinguished scholars and lecturers delivered presentations to students on актуальные topics.

In particular, candidate of philological sciences, professor B.B. Yarkinova delivered a guest lecture on the discipline “Fundamentals of Linguistics”. Phd holder N.I. Salokhiddinova also presented an informative lecture on the topic “Intercultural communication in the modern world.”

Candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor N.D. Kasymova delivered a lecture on “Psycholinguistics and artificial intelligence,” introducing students to modern scientific trends. In addition, senior lecturer K.Kh. Bakirov gave a lecture on “Language as a means of communication,” while Senior Lecturer G.T. Abdulhakimova presented on “Problems of linguistic signs in psycholinguistics.”

Moreover, postgraduate student M.Kh. Abdurakhmanova delivered a presentation on “Intercultural communication and business,” and senior lecturer G.A. Tukhtasinova spoke on “The role of language in personality formation.”

The guest lectures were highly beneficial for students, contributing to the enhancement of their theoretical knowledge and the development of practical skills.
