Awareness Session Held on the SCO Summit

According to the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit will be held in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2026. This important international event plays a significant role in enhancing the international reputation of our country, as well as strengthening regional security and economic and humanitarian cooperation.

In connection with this, an awareness and explanatory session was conducted for the students of groups FLc-1-22 and FLc-2-22 of the Department of English Language and Literature of the Philological Institute. During the event, students received detailed information about the goals of the SCO, its role in promoting cooperation among member states, and its importance for the Kyrgyz Republic.

It was also emphasized that hosting the summit at a high level would contribute to strengthening the country’s international relations and expanding investment and cultural opportunities. The students showed great interest in the topic and actively participated in the discussion.
