THE DAY OF THE PEOPLE’S REVOLUTION

Students of group FLc-3-25 from the Department of English Language and Literature, under the guidance of their curator G.Ch. Alymkulova, organized a curator-led round table dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the April People’s Revolution. The main purpose of this event was to enhance students’ historical awareness, foster a sense of patriotism, and encourage them to evaluate significant events in the country’s history and learn valuable information from them.

Teachers of the department and students actively participated in the round table, creating a warm and meaningful atmosphere. During the event, students delivered comprehensive presentations and reports on the causes of the April People’s Revolution, its course, and its impact on the socio-political life of the country, demonstrating with high level of preparation.

Overall, an active question-and-answer session was organized among the participants, followed by in-depth discussions of each presentation. Students were able to express their opinions freely and share ideas, which allowed them to explore the topic more broadly. This format contributed to the development of their analytical thinking and inspired  their interest in social issues.

In conclusion, the round table successfully achieved its goals and served as an important platform for students to better understand historical events and connect them with contemporary society. The event also contributed to strengthening students’ sense of patriotism and civic responsibility.
