CHOOSING THE RIGHT PROFESSION AS THE FOUNDATION OF A SUCCESSFUL FUTURE

     Instuctors of the Department of English Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology N. A. Zhumabekova and Baiyma Nyshanbay kyzy carried out career guidance activities in schools and colleges of the city.

     The main objective of these activities was to explain to young people the importance of choosing the right profession, to guide them in selecting a suitable career path based on their interests and abilities, and to provide comprehensive information about modern educational opportunities.

     During the meetings, the lecturers informed students and graduating pupils about the role of the English language in today’s globalized world, the advantages of foreign language proficiency, as well as the academic programs and learning conditions offered by the university. In addition, special emphasis was placed on the importance of higher education and the need for a responsible approach to choosing a future profession.

     Students actively participated in discussions, asked questions of interest, and engaged in lively communication. Such meetings contribute to shaping clear career orientations among young people and strengthening their confidence in the future. Career guidance activities represent an important step in enhancing cooperation between educational institutions and are aimed at supporting talented youth.
