Nooruz — the Celebration of Renewal and Unity

At the Institute of Philology, Department of English Language and Literature, a cultural and educational event dedicated to the spring festival of Nooruz was organized at a high level and in a special festive atmosphere. The event was prepared by the students of group FL-1-22 under the supervision of their curator M.M. Toromamatova, and it stood out for its meaningful content and artistic presentation.

Nooruz is an ancient holiday symbolizing the renewal of nature, new hopes, and positive beginnings. To reveal its significance more deeply, the students presented an engaging presentation about its history and origins. It highlighted the role of Nooruz among Eastern peoples, its philosophical meaning, and its relevance in modern times.

During the event, special attention was given to Kyrgyz national traditions. Students dressed in traditional costumes performed scenes depicting customs such as “Kyz Uzatuu” and other rituals. This made a strong impression on the audience and helped them better understand national values.  The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by entertaining games. Participants actively engaged in national games, strengthening unity, friendship, and cooperation. A traditional festive table was also arranged, offering dishes typical of Nooruz to the guests.

The event was particularly notable for its educational value. Students demonstrated their creativity and organizational skills, contributing to the promotion of national culture. This event became an important step in enriching the spiritual world of young people and fostering respect for ancestral heritage.
