OPEN LESSONS CONDUCTED BY STUDENT TRAINEES DURING THEIR BASIC PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

Third-year students of the Department of English Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology conducted open lessons at schools as part of their basic professional practice. This practice provided students with an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real classroom settings and gain valuable teaching experience.

The open lessons covered various topics and were aimed at increasing school students’ interest in learning English. Aizirek Zharkyn kyzy, a student of group FL-1-23, taught a 5th-grade lesson on the topic “My Day.” Rahmankulova Mairamgul and Karimova Nasiba also conducted lessons for 5th-grade students on the topic “I like / I don’t like.”

Students from group FLc-3-23 Aksana Orunbaeva conducted a lesson for 10th-grade students on “Technology and Health,” while Apal Azamat kyzy taught a 5th-grade lesson on “What do you like doing.” In addition, students from group FLc-2-23, Aisalkyn Nurbek kyzy and Karimova Zuraida, conducted open lessons for 5th-grade students.

During the lessons, the students applied modern teaching methods and used digital educational applications, making the classes interactive, engaging, and effective.

These open lessons helped students improve their pedagogical skills and contributed to increasing school students’ interest in learning English.
