THE PATH FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE: OPEN LESSONS AS THE START OF A CAREER
Every professional has once stood at the threshold of starting his or her career. For students of pedagogical universities, this path is especially important because theoretical knowledge needs to be applied in a real professional environment. Open lessons for interns become a crucial stage, allowing them not only to test their knowledge and skills but also to understand how they can be useful in real life. An example of a successful transition from theory to practice is the open lesson conducted during the professional practice of student Baktibek kyzy Begimai from group FLc-3-23 at the innovative lyceum school №14 named after S. Davletov for the 4-A class. The theme of the lesson, the "Modal verb CAN", is an essential part of learning English, as it helps students express abilities, possibilities, and permissions.
During the lesson, Begimai used various methods to make this complex grammatical topic accessible and understandable for younger students. The pupils actively participated in interactive tasks, which helped them strengthen their skills in using the verb CAN in daily speech. The intern not only explained the theoretical part but also organized practical exercises that allowed the children to apply their knowledge in practice.
This lesson became an excellent example of how open lessons help young educators improve their professional skills. Baktibek kyzy Begimai demonstrated the ability to work with children, organize the educational process, and adapt theoretical knowledge to real-life conditions. The lesson became not only an important stage in her professional development but also a valuable experience that will benefit her in the future.
