DEMO LESSON ON THE THEME "MY DAY"

      Zhannat Kursantbek kyzy, a student of FL-1-23 group of  English Language and Literature Department at the Institute of Philology, conducted a demo lesson on the theme "My Day" for the 5th-grade students of the Secondary School No.2 in Manas town. The lesson was attended by A.D.Kerimberdieva, G.A.Orozbaeva, and Ch.K.Abdykalykova, the heads of the English Language and Literature Department's internship supervisors. The goal of the lesson was to develop the students' oral communication skills in English about everyday life. The main objective of the lesson was to teach the students to accurately and fluently describe their daily routine in English, as well as to improve their oral and written communication skills using new vocabulary.

     The lesson was engaging and interactive. First, the teacher explained new vocabulary related to the topic "My day" and demonstrated it with examples. The students then talked about their daily routines and composed simple sentences, such as "I wake up," "I go to school," and "I do my homework." During the lesson, the students were given various tasks, and they attempted to communicate with each other in English. Pictures, flashcards, and interesting activities were also used, which increased the students' interest in the lesson.

      As a result of the open lesson, the students tried to express their thoughts in English on the topic "My Day" and learned to use new vocabulary correctly. Such lessons increase students' interest in learning a language and help improve their proficiency.
