“Veterans of the Afghan War: Heroism and Remembrance”

This event dedicated to the veterans of the Afghan War was held in group FLc-2-24 of the Department of English Language and Literature, Philology Institute, under the guidance of curator N.A. Tashieva.

The purpose of the event was to foster students’ historical awareness, strengthen their sense of patriotism, and deepen their understanding of the historical significance of the Afghan War.

During the event, students prepared reports and delivered informative presentations about the Afghan War. They also shared short tribute speeches and honored the memory of soldiers who lost their lives in the war.

The program included slide presentations highlighting historical facts of the war, the bravery of veterans, and their role in society. Students actively participated in discussions and expressed their views on the topic.

The curatorial hour became an important educational event aimed at promoting patriotism among young people and encouraging respect for history.
