“Shakespeare’s work-Shakespeare’s world”

Today, at Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov English Dram Club of English language and literature department of Philology Faculty is closed Shakespeare Month Event-2025 under the theme “Shakespeare’s work-Shakespeare’s world”. The main aim of the event to discuss the matters of love, loss, ambition, doubt and the complexities of relationships of human nature with the students.

The leaders of English Dram Club N. Zhumabekova, N. Arslanbekova, Nyshanbai kyzy Baiyma and members of English Dram Club decorate rooms of the faculty and announce the plan of Shakespeare Month Event-2025. Students of FL-1-24 present slideshow “Shakespeare’s work-Shakespeare’s world”, eighteen Shakespeare Quotes with great pleasure.

The goals of English Dram Club are to improve the grammatical structure of scene from the play King Lear, effective communication and speech expressiveness and creating positive motivation and need for the practical use of the English language.

Shakespeare Month Event-2025 Programme lasts until 28th of April. This event is a script for a theatrical performance, including a staging from the plays by W. Shakespeare "Hamlet", "Tragedy of King Lear" and "Romeo and Juliet", “Macbeth”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Twelfth Night”, “Julio Caesar”,  “Two Gentlemen of Verona” in English. In addition, it is holding competitions within the framework of the English language event presentations, activities, picture galleries and crosswords about biography, plays, sonnets and poems of William Shakespeare. 

As a result, the special feature and usefulness of this event was to provide students with e-books and enrich their cultural consciousness with emotions.
