Information about the Department of Kyrgyz Language and Literature

In 1993, at the Engineering and Pedagogical Faculty of JASU, the Department of Language Sciences was organized, the head of which was appointed Candidate of  Pedagogical Sciences., Associate Professor Darbanov M.E.

In 1994, in September, the department of the Kyrgyz language and literature was separated, the head was appointed Candidate of  Philol. Sciences Kalchekeev K.B. philol. In 1998, the Department of the Kyrgyz language was organized and for the position of the head Candidate of Philol. Sciences Kadyrova A. was nominated. In 2008, there was a merger of the departments of the Kyrgyz language, the state language and the practical course, the head was appointed Candidate of Philol. Sciences, Associate Professor Azhybaeva Z.A.

By the decision of the Academic Council of JASU dated 17.01.2011, the department of the Kyrgyz language was re-established. By order of the rector of JASU dated January 22, 2011, Candidate of Philol. Sciences, Associate Professor Omorov A. was appointed as a head of the department. Since April 2016, on a competitive basis, Bakirova G.K. was elected the head of the Kyrgyz language department. and the head of the department of Kyrgyz, world literature and journalism D.M. Chokoev. In 2020, these departments merged into the Department of the Kyrgyz Language and Literature. Omorov Aitmamat was appointed as a head of the department.

On June 30, 2021, according to the protocol of the next meeting of the Academic Council of JASU No. 9, a competition was announced to fill the vacant position of the head of the department in all faculties of JASU named after. B. Osmonova. According to the results of the competition, published in the socio-political newspaper Aimak on May 18, 2021, No. 16 (400), Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Anara Kadyrova was appointed head of the department.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of the Kyrgyz Language and Literature provides training in the direction 550300 Philological education (profile: Kyrgyz language and literature).

The main educational program (BEP) of the Kyrgyz language and literature profile, direction 550300 of Philological education, has been developed.   The main educational program for undergraduate studies , Master's main educational Program (MEP) contains   all the activities of students and graduates of this profile. The  “Bachelor’s graduate competence model” , “Master’s graduate competence model” was developed  for the profile of the Kyrgyz language and literature, direction 550300 of Philological education. The definitions and concepts of the graduate competence model, the foundations and structure of the graduate competence model, the task of activity, the characteristics of professional activity, the formed competences of graduates are given.

ACHIEVEMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT:

The teaching staff of the department prepared and published more than 60 educational and methodical works and about 50 scientific articles, more than 15 textbooks.

For merits and achievements in the educational field, Lecturers of the Department of the Kyrgyz Language and Literature were awarded state awards:

COMPETITION WINNERS

1. From 2009 to 2011, members of the department conducted scientific work on a project on the topic “Monuments of the Middle Ages and the Kyrgyz language, language ties”. Scientific articles were published by Professor I. Abduvalieva, associate professors A. Omorova, G. Bakirova, the scientific collection “M. Kashgari - ortho kylymdardyn uluu aalymy” (B-Zh-A, 2011). From 2009 to 2015, work was carried out on the translation of the dictionary by M. Kashgari “Divanu lugati t-turk” into the Kyrgyz language in 3 volumes by Professor JASU I. Abduvaliev, Associate Professor A. Omorov, Associate Professor of KNUI. were successfully published. From 2020 to 2021, the members of the department conducted scientific work on the project on the topic “Subject-thematic indexes of the epic “Er Tabyldy”. Scientific articles were published by Professor K.B. Kalchekeev, senior Lecturer. R.T.Keldibayeva, scientific collection "Bulletin" (JASU, 2021);

2. In 2013, in the competition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university and the 20th anniversary of JASU, in the nomination "The Best Young Lecturer", Lecturer Zhalilova N.K. took 1st place in the nomination "Best curator" Zhalilova N.K. took 1st place.

3. In the 2014-2015 academic year, 3 students of the specialty "Kyrgyz language and literature" took 1st place in the Republican Interuniversity Olympiad, and in the 2015-2016 academic year 1 student took 3rd place.

In 2015, at the IV Regional Olympiad held at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek University in Osh in the discipline of the Kyrgyz language (initial group) Makhamadzhanova M. (M-1-14) took 1st place, (from the continuing group) Kubanychbek kyzy E. (M -1-14) took 3rd place. Scientific adviser: Lecturer Dzhalilova N.K.

9. In the 2017-2018 academic year, a 4th year student majoring in Kyrgyz language and literature Kanybek kyzy Alina (group Kt-1-14) became the owners of a presidential scholarship.

10. In 2017, April 21-22, at the “I International Festival of World Languages ​​and Cultures: Unity in Diversity” at BSU. K. Karasaev, Bishkek, students of the Kyrgyz language team took the 1st place (Head - F.I.K., Associate Professor Shakirova M.),

13. In 2019, on April 25, in the competition for the development of the project by the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the mayor's office of Osh, OshTU named after. M. Adysheva “The best competition for the digitalization of the state language” with the project “Using digitalization technology in the study of the state language”, students of the interfaculty took the 2nd place. (Head - Lecturer Zhalilova N.K.);

14. Every year, JASU issues a rating assessment of the activities of scientists. According to the results of scientific activities for 2017-2018-2019, Professor I. Abduvaliev took 3rd place (690 points), associate professor Bakirova G.K. for active participation (410 points) among teaching staff of JASU. According to the rating assessment of the activities of the structural divisions of JASU, the Department of the Kyrgyz Language and Literature is the 2nd leader (2085 points) among 23 departments and 2 colleges.

15. According to the results of the 2020-2021 academic year in science, in the nomination “Best scientific monograph”, 1st place was taken by Doctor of Philology, Professor M. Mirzahidova; in the nomination “The best postgraduate student” the 1st place was taken by the Lecturer of the department N. Jalilova.
