"OUR MOTHER TONGUE IS THE UNDYING WEALTH OF OUR PEOPLE"

On September 23, 2026, Bayaman Ermatali uulu, a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling of the Pedagogical Institute named after E. Umetov, conducted a curatorial hour for the students of the FMBB(M)-1-23 group on the topic "Our mother tongue is the undying wealth of our people."

The purpose of the curatorial hour is to foster youth's love for their mother tongue, raise the prestige of the state language, deepen the understanding of its role in society, and strengthen students' sense of patriotism.

During the curatorial hour, the lecturer focused on the history of the formation of the Kyrgyz language, the trials it has gone through, and its current role in the fields of science and education. It was especially emphasized that for future generations of educators, it is important to use their mother tongue purely and correctly and to maintain a high status of the state language in their professional environment.

The students participated actively, recited expressive poems about their mother tongue, and shared their thoughts.
