INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC MOBILITY: JASU ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR AT HALLA UNIVERSITY IN SOUTH KOREA

Within the framework of the international cooperation agreement between the “B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University” (JASU) Scientific-Educational-Production Complex and Halla University (Republic of Korea), and based on the official decree of the University Rector, Dr. M. N. Nurmatova, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (PhD) and Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling at the Pedagogical Institute of JASU, arrived in the Republic of Korea for an official visit under the academic mobility program. On the first day of the visit, Prof. Kim Jong-ha, Glocal Vice President of Halla University, extended a warm official welcome to the JASU representative and presented the upcoming joint work plans. Following the meeting, a special guided tour of the modern academic buildings, research laboratories, and campus infrastructure was organized, accompanied by Mr. Howard Lee, Director of the International Cooperation Division at Halla University. Halla University was founded by Mr. Chung In-yung, a renowned entrepreneur and an influential historical figure endowed with great willpower and deep wisdom, who contributed significantly to the “Miracle on the Han River” (South Korea's economic miracle). Today, the country's most prominent and influential industrialists, who define South Korea's massive manufacturing sector, continue to channel substantial direct capital investments into the development and modernization of the university’s material and technical infrastructure. As a direct result of this robust financial and industrial backing, the university supplies highly qualified personnel directly to world-renowned automotive giants and multinational corporations, such as KIA and Hyundai. The university’s primary advantage is its direct employment pipeline, ensuring that graduates are guaranteed job placements within these major partner companies immediately upon graduation. During this significant visit, particular emphasis was observed on the integration of theory and practice through specialized simulation modeling (virtual reality testing technologies) used in training specialists for mechanical engineering, aviation, artificial intelligence, and software engineering. This advanced educational approach deeply engaged the professional interest of the JASU representative, Dr. M. N. Nurmatova.
