A PRE-DEFENSE EVENT FOR MASTER'S THESES WAS ORGANIZED

On may 20, 2026, the department of mathematics and mathematical modeling of the pedagogical institute named after E. Umetov at the scientific-educational-industrial complex “Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov” organized a pre-defense session for the master’s dissertations of the graduate students of the FME(M)mag-1-24 group. The event was attended by the head of the department M.K. Beknazarova, academic supervisors, and members of the department’s faculty. During the pre-defense session, the following graduate students delivered detailed presentations on the results of their research work and demonstrated the level of readiness of their dissertations for the final defense: 1. Zulaykho Kodirzhan kyzy – “Formation of functional literacy in geometry lessons for grades 7–9” (Academic supervisor: Candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor A. Uraimkhalilova) 2. Aizhan Ermekbay kyzy – “Formation of students’ algorithmic thinking in teaching mathematics at general secondary schools” (Academic supervisor: candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor A. Uraimkhalilova) 3. Aruuke Ulanova – “Consistency of teaching methods and instructional tools used in achieving lesson objectives” (Academic supervisor: doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor K.S. Alybaev) 4. Aizhana Sadykova – “Pedagogical foundations of innovative activity of teachers and students” (Academic supervisor: Candidate of technical sciences, associate professor S.Zh. Kuvakov) 5. Kurmanbek Mukhtarov – “Stages of development of the innovation process in education (on the example of JASU)” (Academic supervisor: candidate of technical sciences, associate professor S.Zh. Kuvakov) 6. Nazgul Zhoroeva – “Singularly Perturbed Cauchy Problems in the Case of Different Eigenvalues” (Academic supervisor: doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor A.M. Dzhuraev) 7. Guliza Dzhumalyeva – “Singularly perturbed equations of certain classes with zeros and poles” (Academic supervisor: doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor K.S. Alybaev) During the meeting, the graduate students substantiated the relevance, scientific novelty, theoretical significance, and practical value of their research. They also provided clear and comprehensive answers to questions related to the pedagogical experiments and mathematical calculations conducted within the framework of their dissertation studies. The faculty members and academic supervisors evaluated the content of the dissertations and the quality of the presentations, while also providing recommendations for final revisions before the official defense stage. By the decision of the department, all master’s dissertations were recommended for the final defense. The event was successfully conducted at a high academic and organizational level.
