AN INTELLECTUAL GAME “MATHEMATICAL BRAIN RING” WAS HELD AT THE BASE SCHOOL

In accordance with the joint work plan for the 2025–2026 academic year between the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling of the E. Umetov Pedagogical Institute of the Scientific-Educational Production Complex B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University and Secondary School No. 18 “Manas-1000” located in the city of Manas, second-year students organized an intellectual game entitled “Mathematical Brain Ring” for students of grades 5–7 as part of their adaptive pedagogical practice. Six teams participated in the event. Each team had a mixed composition consisting of one student from the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. The tasks were designed based on the school curriculum and divided into three stages: general questions, a Kahoot! platform round, and a logical thinking round. It should be noted that the event was предварительно согласовано with the school administration and teaching practice supervisors. The main purpose of the activity was to increase students’ interest in mathematics and to develop their logical thinking skills. At the end of the game, memorable gifts prepared by the trainee students were presented to the winners and active participants. This initiative contributed to the development of teamwork skills among school students and served as an excellent platform for gaining pedagogical experience for the university students. In total, six trainee students successfully completed their adaptive pedagogical practice at this school.
