CAREER GUIDANCE EVENTS HELD IN SCHOOLS OF NOOKEN DISTRICT

On April 29, 2026, in accordance with Order No. 14 of the E. Umetov Pedagogical Institute of B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University, another series of career guidance meetings for graduating school students of the Nooken District was conducted. As part of this important event, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences M. N. Nurmatova, together with a specially formed working group, provided graduates with detailed information about the advantages of the Mathematics specialty and its role in modern science. The event was organized jointly with the Nooken District Department of Education and conducted according to the schedule at the following centralized locations: • In the village of Masy, at Secondary School No. 2 named after S. Nogoeva – for graduates of Schools No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 25, 29, 30, 31, 35, 36, and 42 of the D. Sadyrbaev rural district; • At Secondary School No. 18 named after M. Moldaliev – for students of schools located in the village of Burgondu. In her speech, M. N. Nurmatova focused on the specific features of studying Mathematics within the educational program 550200 “Physical and Mathematical Education” at JASU, as well as on the relevance of this profession in the era of digitalization. She informed students about mathematical modeling and fundamental sciences and emphasized the importance of Mathematics in taking the National Scholarship Test (NST). During the meeting, graduates were also informed about the university’s modern material and technical facilities, student life, and the cultural and sports achievements of the university. Informational booklets were distributed among the participants. The university staff expresses sincere gratitude to Syrgak Tazhibaevich, Head of the Nooken District Department of Education, for his assistance in organizing the event at a high level. We are confident that such initiatives will serve as a reliable guide for future specialists in choosing the right professional path.
