ONLINE GUEST LECTURE

On April 7, 2026, M. N. Nurmatova, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling at the Scientific and Educational Production Complex “Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov,” delivered an online guest lecture for third-year students (Mathematics profile) of Naryn State University. The lecture was attended by the faculty members led by B. Biymursaeva, Head of the Department of Physics, Mathematics, and Informatics at Naryn State University, as well as students. The lecture, held via the Zoom platform, was devoted to the topic: “Methods of Teaching Numerical Sequences and Progressions Based on STEM Technologies.” During the session, the lecturer, drawing on the curriculum and the expected learning outcomes for Grade 9, proposed various types of activities aimed at increasing students’ interest in studying arithmetic progressions. Detailed explanations were also provided on deriving definitions and formulas, teaching geometric progressions by analogy with arithmetic progressions, using video materials, and implementing engineering and technological tasks in practice. This event was organized to strengthen scientific and methodological cooperation between the two universities and to enhance the professional competence of future specialists through the exchange of experience.
