MASTER CLASSES BASED ON THE 5E MODEL CONTINUE AT THE BASE SCHOOL

On April 6, 2026, another master class was held at Secondary School No. 18 “Manas-1000” in the city of Manas. The event was organized by the faculty of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling of the Scientific-Educational Production Complex “Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov” with the aim of providing methodological support to school teachers. Main areas of the event: • In accordance with the work plan jointly developed with the department’s base school, the master class was conducted by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Senior Lecturer M.N. Nurmatova. • The main topic: “Key Aspects of Lesson Planning Based on the 5E Model and Recommendations for Designing Its Stages.” Content and outcomes of the master class: 1. Application of the 5E Model: Issues of effective lesson planning based on the 5E model were discussed for teachers of various subject areas. 2. Values and Competencies: Based on the questions left by participants in the “exit tickets” from the previous meeting, an in-depth discussion was held on key competencies and the values corresponding to them within the framework of the State Educational Standard. 3. Practical Orientation: Teachers received specific recommendations on applying theoretical knowledge in practice. At the end of the event, participants were given special assignments to consolidate the acquired knowledge, which should be completed before the next meeting.
