FUTURE MATHEMATICIANS DEMONSTRATED A SCHOOL LESSON MODEL IN A SIMULATION FORMAT

At the Pedagogical Institute named after E. Umetov of the Educational, Scientific and Production Complex “Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov”, active work aimed at improving students’ professional skills is ongoing. On March 11, 2026, under the supervision of Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences M.N. Nurmatova, another series of simulation-based practical classes was conducted for students of group FMMB(M)-1-24. During the sessions, students demonstrated their skills in planning and delivering lessons using modern educational technologies. This format contributes to the development of the following competencies in students even before they begin their professional teaching careers: • independent lesson planning; • classroom management; • pedagogical reflection. Students’ practical activities: Kasym kyzy Nuraiym (Quadratic Equations): She began the lesson by creating a positive psychological atmosphere and organized group work. To save time, she effectively used a presentation and specially designed didactic cards. Nurlan kyzy Elnura (Quadratic Inequalities): She applied game-based learning techniques and motivational strategies to enhance student engagement. The lesson stages were supported by the use of visual teaching aids. At the end of the sessions, students conducted an in-depth analysis of their performance. During peer assessment, the “Two Stars and One Wish” method was applied, where constructive feedback was provided using stickers. This process enabled future teachers to analyze their mistakes and share professional observations. Such practical activities allow for monitoring students’ professional growth and contribute to their development as qualified specialists who meet the requirements of modern schools.
