INTRODUCTORY CONFERENCE ON RESEARCH PRACTICE HELD

On March 19, 2026, an introductory conference on research practice was held at the Pedagogical Institute named after E. Umetov of the Scientific-Educational Production Complex “Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov” for master’s students of group FMЕ(M)mag-1-24 in the 550200 “Physics and Mathematics Education” program (major: Mathematics). The practice is scheduled to take place from March 23 to May 2 of the current year. The event was organized and successfully conducted by M. N. Nurmatova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling and the person responsible for coordinating internships. During the conference, detailed information was provided on the goals and objectives of the practice, the implementation of the “roadmap,” and the guidelines for maintaining the practice diary. It was emphasized that this practice represents the final stage of the master’s students’ research work, and each master’s student is expected to complete their research paper in full. It was also announced that in the final weeks of the practice, the research papers will be checked through the “Antiplagiarism” system according to the schedule, and reviews from field-specific reviewers will be obtained. In addition, the master’s students were informed about the planned preliminary defense of their master’s theses, with all these activities clearly outlined in the “roadmap.” Research supervisors who attended the conference answered the master’s students’ questions and provided methodological guidance on conducting effective research work. The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, and the master’s students received clear guidance for the upcoming responsible work.
