EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF PROFESSIONAL-PROFILE PRACTICE

Students majoring in Mathematics (Program 550200: Physical and Mathematical Education) at the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling of the E. Umetov Pedagogical Institute, part of the B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University Scientific-Educational Production Complex, are currently undertaking professional-profile practice in partner schools. With the aim of implementing the dual education system and facilitating future employment at the institution, trainee Muhlisa Atabekova is completing her practice at Secondary General Education School No. 3 named after Babur in the city of Bazar-Korgon. During her practice, she organized an extracurricular activity — an intellectual competition titled “Akyl Ordo” for 5th-grade students. The contest, consisting of five stages, was designed to develop students' logical and algorithmic thinking, promote the effective use of digital resources, and test their ingenuity, resourcefulness, and mathematical literacy. The students participated in the intellectual game with great enthusiasm and demonstrated high engagement. The department methodologist and practice supervisor, M. Nurmatova, attended the event and provided a highly positive and constructive assessment of Muhlisa’s organizational skills and pedagogical performance. Based on the jury's evaluation, the thorough preparation of the event was specifically noted. At the conclusion of the competition, outstanding students were awarded certificates in the categories of “Expert”, “Sage”, and “Gifted”.
