ONLINE WEBINAR HELD WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF PROFESSIONAL PROFILE PRACTICE

On February 3, 2026, in accordance with the academic calendar of the Pedagogical Institute named after E. Umetov of the Scientific-Educational-Production Complex “Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov”, a scheduled training event was organized for students of the FME(M)-1-22 group, majoring in 550200 “Physics and Mathematics Education” (Mathematics profile). This group is currently undergoing their professional profile practice (from February 2 to March 7). According to the work program of the professional profile practice (8th semester), the curriculum includes 48 hours of “work-based learning.” As part of this plan, Senior Lecturer M. N. Nurmatova conducted an online webinar on the topic: “Developing Lesson Plans Based on the Calendar-Thematic Plan and Analyzing the Steps of Lesson Implementation.” To ensure the full participation of all student-practitioners, the webinar was hosted via the Zoom platform. Main Content and Objectives of the Webinar: The content of this training was designed to address issues identified during the 7th-semester professional profile practice. It was observed that students encountered significant difficulties in planning lessons based on the 5E Model in schools. This issue was addressed during a regular meeting of the Department of “Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling” on January 20, and the responsibility for providing methodological support and lesson planning based on the 5E Model was assigned to lecturer M. N. Nurmatova. To this end, the following key areas were emphasized during this session: • Structure of the 5E Model: Planning each stage of the lesson (Engagement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, Evaluation) according to the specific requirements of mathematics lessons; • Integration of Standards: Working with the State Educational Standard of general school education and the updated curriculum of 2025; • Practical Application: Planning and presenting topics from the Calendar-Thematic Plan (CTP) in alignment with the 5E Model. During the webinar, a presentation was shown, followed by an interactive discussion with the students. At the end of the event, the “exit ticket” method was used to assess the knowledge gained by the practitioners, and they were assigned tasks for independent work.
