RESULTS OF STUDENTS' INDEPENDENT WORK DISCUSSED

On December 15, 2025, the Department of “Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling” of the Pedagogical Institute named after E. Umetov, within the Scientific-Educational Production Complex “Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov,” held a regular concluding event to review the results of students' independent work.

Event Topic: Summing up the results of students' independent work and hearing reports.

Organizer: Senior Lecturer of the Department, M. N. Nurmatova.

Participants: Students of Group FMЕ(M)-1-24.

During the event, the curriculum content planned for the 3rd semester of the discipline “Methods of Teaching Physics and Mathematics Education (Mathematics)” was discussed. In accordance with the submission schedule for independent work, students presented the following types of assignments:

• Scientific-based essays;
• Systematized tables and clusters;
• Venn diagrams for comparative analysis.

Additionally, assignments were given for writing research papers (abstracts) and preparing presentations.

The primary objective of the event was to discuss the content of the presentations and papers prepared by students on relevant topics, as well as to present the theoretical material mastered, engage in discussion, and deepen their knowledge.

In the course of the discussion, students defended their reports. Each topic was followed by engaging questions and answers sessions, and an exchange of views on modern methodical teaching techniques took place. It was noted that the independent works were completed with high quality and in accordance with the established schedule.
