Implementation of Dual Education

On March 18, 2025, the Department of "Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling" at the E. Umetov Pedagogical Faculty of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov organized a seminar with the staff of the JASU Innovation School and its student interns. The aim of the event was to enhance collaboration with base schools and provide methodological support to students.

The seminar, titled "Lesson Planning in Schools: From Goals to Results," was conducted by senior lecturer M.N. Nurmatova. The main objectives of the seminar were to:

• analyze the significance and role of Bloom's Taxonomy in setting goals according to SMART criteria;
• review and discuss concrete examples;
• select effective teaching methods based on Glasser’s Pyramid.

Plickers cards were used in the seminar, providing an opportunity to assess participants' readiness to perceive the content.

Each participant (teachers and interns) formulated lesson objectives for their respective subjects and then adjusted them based on Bloom's Taxonomy verbs after reviewing the presentation. The levels of assignments were classified accordingly.

Additionally, participants explored Glasser’s Pyramid, which highlighted active learning, interactive methods, and an individualized approach as key factors in effective teaching. Various practical applications were examined and discussed.

Opportunities for both individual and group work were provided. At the end of the seminar, participants submitted suggestions for the topic and objectives of the next meeting in an "exit ticket" format.
